'AUM'

The Diva's challenge gave all of us an opportunity to create a tile related to our home/ state/ country !

Now sitting here far ...thousands of miles away...from my beloved country India, this was something which I could instantly connect to...and what better way to depict India than to talk of  'AUM' !

'AUM' or 'OM'  in Sanskrit means ‘One who protects, sustains’. So that which sustains everything is AUM'.

It is the name of the Lord, who pervades your being, who pervades everything in the world.

So , 'AUM' was my tiny little effort in remembrance of my home...

Oh yes my friend Patricia from Colours dekor recently surprised me with this award

Patricia I am really touched ! Thanks !

If you have not been to Colours Dekor ,please do pay a visit and I am sure you will leave all smiling and refreshed and very inspired :)
'Liebster' in German means 'dearest' and the blogs I am passing this award to are all my very very favorite ones :
Funky Junk Interior
An Indian Summer
Illustrated Blog
Geninne's Art Blog
